Walk Away was the first song I remember hearing on the radio by James Gang, and it blew me away. Joe Walsh's layered guitars were amazing, his laconic vocal style endearing - that band seemed totally on target. However, Walk Away was the last big hit for the trio.

Thousands of guitarists have pummeled that opening lick and thousands of cover bands have essayed the tune. I love it too, but there had to be another path for Walk Away. So what we've got here is Kevins-style dance music: machine-driven disco-drums, cotton-candy synths and a floaty vocal approach. And some force-fitted big guitars.
