Change The Game is the ninth full-length collection from The Kevins, and the band's first "double" album" (Exile On Gray Ct., maybe Arvada Calling?). The musical afterburners fired full blast in 2012: in addition to the Get A Job single and The Kinks covers ep, the band cranked out nearly three dozen other musical pieces. Twenty of them make up this collection.

While not a concept album, the title says it all: if the cards look stacked, change the game! The songs range from full-bore electric stomps to funky acoustic reveries, from spacey pop to imaginary soundtracks. Stories of dissatisfaction, recognition, and resolution unfold in The Kevins catchy rock, pop-punk and country-folk sounds.

Fourteen new original compositions are augmented by top-notch talents. Songwriter deluxe Andrew Bergey contributes three tunes, including two brand-new collaborations with the band. Covers of Aimee Mann, Lucinda Williams and Willie Nelson favorites were touchstones for the project, each song piercing in its own way.
